Stop Smoking Shot
The quit smoking shot is an injection that is supposed to
block the brains nicotine receptors and ease the withdrawal
pains from the nicotine. It is just one shot that is
administered in the buttocks or hip. The shot by SMARTTM has
two main drugs, Scopolamine and Atarax. After the initial
injection, people use a scopolamine patch and medication for
about two weeks, resulting in a permanent success rate of about
70%. There can be side effects of the shot.
There is also now a Quit 1-2-3 shot that requires doctor
permission. It requires continuous behavioral coaching and
support to be paired up with the chemicals injected into you.
One of the best parts about stop smoking shots is that they do
not require you to use nicotine replacement patches or gums. If
other methods have not worked to help you quit, you may want to
give this a try.
